4.0.4 update list is inconsistent

Hi,

I have 2 SE Arc S's, both bought locally in Cyprus from my provider FULLY UNLOCKED.

The first one (black) was bought in November 2011 has an SI of: 1254-1140

The other one (white) was bought recently and has an SI of:  1254-0680

The white one is listed in the 4.0.4 thread as being eligible for the update since the 15th of August and indeed I updated it through PC Suite just fine.

he black one is listed on the sam thread as eligible since the 3rd of May, but it's stuck on 4.0.3. I have tried through SEUS, through PC Suite and OTA and all of them say it's up to date.

Did someone just merge the 4.0.3 update list with the 4.0.4 one?

PS. The 3rd of May date is around the time 4.0.3 was released and I upgraded to that, so it can't be right that 4.0.4 was released on that date as well.

they are not quite unlocked, for the most part, if a network sell a phone "unlocked" they call it unlocked when they should call it contract free, as the updates is still dependent on them to approve and release it.

Yes, that could be, but that does not change the fact that they were both bought from the same provider and that there is a problem with the list.

In the SI list you can now see which build number that's latest for each and every SI number. The updates roll out gradually.
