I hadn't noticed until I needed the GPS to find myself in a town I was unfamiliar with. No location data at all.
I now realize that this is the first time I have tried GPS since the update and repeated tries with GPS Test and Maps shows no location. GPS Test shows 8 satellites available and using - but no location at all. My Nexus 7 was 20 feet within seconds of turning it on.
I tried the purge AGPS and several resets as suggested in some of the other Experia forums.
No joy.
No location.
This is an important feature, any other suggestions for getting the GPS to work? It worked fine before the ICS update - that seems to have killed it.
TIA,
Peter

Let me know if the problem remains after reinstalling the phone software using SUS.

That fixed it.
Thanks,

Well it didn't last long.
A week later, I needed the GPS and with 10 satellites in use, no location was found.
This sucks.
Please come up with a solution I can use when I am lost and have no data connection. The GPS is clearly working, satellites come and go, but the data is not getting out as a location.
