Updates LWW

Hi all. I am following the ICS Updates for long time but i noticed that addition of it has stopped. Last update is from 20 Jul and today is 31 Jul.  My classmate has ICS for 1 month even longer, and its so annnoying for me. I know there is a lot fo Si numbers but im waiting for 2 motths. Moreover updating is stopped and I dont know why. So i want to know if and when the updating will be contiuned. Thx for answers. I can add im from Poland.

Please note that the forum post update comes way after the ICS update is released for the new SI numbers. For example, the latest update on that thread is dated July 20, but the latest SI addition was on July 10, unless I'm missing something.

That may be the reason for so many people receiving the update before their SI number is posted here.

Yea, that can be true, but every day im checking updates by connecting my phone to computer. And i know that not me have only this problem cos i have read a lot of discussions about LWW updates and ppl also havent updates. So on the grounds of this both things ( I mean checking SI numbers and checking it directly by phone and computer) i think the updates are stoppped. And i dont know why... Im waiting for Android 4.0 for long time and i dont want to install, how some ppl are advising, this software manually.

As stated in the thread, we don't have any information on when new SI's are added to the list. I'm sorry, but you will just have to wait. As far as I know, it's not all done yet.

Yeah, and i only wanted to know if is it the end of updates or not? Cos i started to think that updates are over. If i have to wait, there isnt any way to miss it. So i will be patient. Thx for correct answer Samuel and helpful Tincho

i would like to know also, inthe store when i bought my phone they promised i could upgrade to 4.0

but ive seen people who received the upgrade but why are some phones not getting one ?

is there a technical reason behind it ? like some models have diffrent hardware parts and need diffrent drivers in the firmware ?

or is there another reason

i bought an unlocked, provider free phone and if sony is not pussing out an update because financial reasons

i would even pay a small fee is needed as long i can receive that update

The reason everyone isn't getting the update at the same time is because the update is rolled out one SI-batch at the time. More info here: http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/38368

Sometimes Sony does not opt for giving old phones such updates. Like it was decided that Sony WT19i won't get Jelly Bean update. But it was good that CM team made CM10 Jelly Bean 4.1.1 ROM:http://www.androidust.com/upgrade-sony-wt19i-live-with-walkman-with-cm-10-jelly-bean-4-1-1-rom/
