Xperia SL volume rocker and power button failure

I updated to Jellybean yesterday, and now the volume rocker has a mind of its own increasing and decreasing the ringer volume as it pleases. The power button just refuses to work, the device just doesnt respond to pressing it at all. and every time I open the Google Chrome app, it freezes and restarts in safe mode.

Can anyone help?

that's odd it might be a hardware issue, take your phone to a Sony repair center

I dropped it in water last month, but it worked fine since then so I dont kow if it has anything to do with that?

yeah, most likely that's the reason it doesn't work, you are lucky that your phone still work

id rather it didnt work at all, at least then id have a reason to buy a new phone..

you have 2 options

1) take it to a Sony repair center

2) repair it yourself, this is a lot cheaper but will void your warranty

and also there's a third option, sell your phone on ebay as is and you can buy a new phone : P
