Laptop to Bravia ?

Have 32EX403 connected to BT Home Hub- OK. Have laptop connected to Home Hub- OK. How to connect Laptop to 32EX403 ?

If you are requiring to play movies/photos/music from your laptop to the TV then, in my experience, the laptop must be connected to the router via a cat 5 cable. I am not able to do this with wi-fi which is rather annoying. And then you need serviio or some other DLNA media server.

Hi,

check out the link below, its what most rave about on here, however i've done mine with Windows Media Player

and set it up in control panel under network and sharing options.

Should you still be having problems after the above video (as I did) then you may have a BT Home Hub port forwarding issue. I followed the above video and still couldn't see Windows Media Player or any other DLNA servers I'd installed on my PC. I've now got mine working well, but neither 'Catmambo', 'specialist-convergence' nor anyone else, despite everyone's much apppreciated efforts, from these forums could help me as it wasn't a Bravia or PC problem.
