Does anyone know the answer?
Hello,
I've had my Sony Xperia Z1 Compact for quite a while now, and I was very happy with how fast it got the lolipop update but now android nougat is already out and I haven't seen a marshmallow update. When are we getting android 6.0? I don't think the phone is unable to run marshmallow and you already have 6.0 interface, why not roll out an update for 6.0? The phone is only 3 years old now. Many people still have this phone, people are still buying it, it's ashame that Sony's taking the Samsung path and choses not to update their older, but still capable devices. I guess I'll have to diy 6.0, root my phone and all that. Would rather have an official update, but there are options I guess.

Hello!
I have some questions...
What is the back camera lens made of? Are there some layers, or is it pure glass? Or worse, is it plastic?
What about the front glass? What kind of glass is found underneath the thin plastic layer?
Thank you for your time.
My Z1 doesn't have a diagnostic how do I get it?one of my apps is making the phone freeze and restart! Cheers dave
Well, put yourself in Sony's position. There are so many new phones out now so you want to spend your time refining your newest models. To do so you need resources, people and money. Now tell me, would you rather spend part of those resources on older models that will no longer sell and that went beyond their 18 months of life? The answer is most likely no (this applies to ANY business that has high demands from people and that needs to be at the top of their game). Now, from the customer's point of view (that is us), we would definitely appreciate an update, but there are so many ways of doing it ourselves that we will eventually be accustomed to the idea of unlocking the bootloader of the phone and do some modding. This is also Sony's prospective for it's customers. You can see that they spent a minimum of time providing us the opportunity to unlock the bootloader and update the phones ourselves. Many older Sony phones do not have such options, but the Z1 compact does. At this point, I can only be grateful for this. Again, I would highly appreciate un update, but I understand the circumstances.
Hola, soy de argentina. Mi problema es que mi teléfono se apaga sin previo aviso como si no tuviera carga, pero al 90% de batería. Es como si se hubiera descalibrado la batería
Hello I am from Argentina. My problem is that my phone is turned off without warning as if it had no charge, but at 90% battery. It is as if the battery had been decalibrated

I have transferred all of my photos onto an SD Card. But now I can not see them in my album . How can I view them ?
Thanks

Hello!
I suggest to reboot your device (turn it off and then on).
That should work, simply because you have changed the path of the photos, so they are not found by the gallery.
If that does not work, then launch the gallery app, swipe right from the left side of the screen. That should open a side window. One of the options should be "folders". If not, there should be a left facing arrow on the top left of the screen. Press that.
Returning to the side menu, I do not use an Sd card, so I do not know the name of the folder for it, but I suspect it might be in 100Android or DCIM. Otherwise just browse until you find it (there shouldn't be many XD)
Let me know if it works.
